ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Pakistan is observing ‘Day of Gratitude’ after the successful completion of Operation Buyan-ul-Marsoos and ceasefire agreement with India.

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has announced to observe a day of gratitude across the country today, Sunday, for the befitting reply to Indian aggression and the success of Operation Bunyan-e-Marsoos.

In his statement, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif said that we are grateful to Allah Almighty for making us victorious.

This day is to pay tribute to the bravery of the Pakistani armed forces, to appreciate the unity and courage of the nation and to prostrate ourselves in the presence of Allah Almighty.

He said that Operation Bunyan-e-Marsoos gave an effective and comprehensive response to the enemy’s aggression and Pakistan proved its superiority on every front.

Despite the enemy’s aggression, Pakistan ensured its defense with patience and forbearance but with full preparation.

The Prime Minister appealed to the nation, especially the scholars, to organize collective prayers and nawafils across the country today, thank Allah Almighty and offer special prayers for the martyrs and veterans.

The Prime Minister said that the sacrifices of the Pakistani army can never be forgotten, the entire nation stands by them. We did to the enemy what befits a dignified nation. Pakistani falcons silenced the guns of the Indian army in a few hours, which will be remembered in history.

In his address to the nation, the Prime Minister said that Allah loves those who fight in line in His path. He congratulated the Pakistani nation and saluted the brave people from the bottom of his heart.

The Prime Minister said that we have proven to the world that Pakistanis are a self-reliant nation. If anyone challenges our sovereignty, we become a leaden wall and overcome the enemy.

He said that India has demonstrated open aggression. What the enemy has done in recent days was an unjustified war. Our forces have given a professional and full response, creating a golden chapter in military history.

The Prime Minister said that Pakistan had offered an impartial investigation from the beginning and had shown constant restraint, but when the enemy attempted to violate the border, it was responded to in the language it understood.

He said that Pakistani falcons silenced Indian guns within a few hours. The enemy’s Rafale aircraft also failed to target our falcons.

The Prime Minister further said that the entire nation stands with the Pakistani forces like a leaden wall. The blood of our soldiers was shed against the enemy’s nefarious intentions and India’s airbases were reduced to rubble and then Pakistan achieved victory on the basis of principles.

This is a moment of gratitude, in which the nation showered flowers of love on the Pakistani forces.

Operation Bunyan-e-Marsoos:

It should be noted that Pakistan responded to India’s aggression by successfully hitting more than 10 Indian targets during Operation Bunyan-e-Marsoos (Iron Wall).

The airbases and fields of Adampur, Udhampur, Bathinda, Suratgarh, Mamoon, Akhnoor, Jammu, Sirsa and Barnala were targeted in the operation. The Indian Uri Field Supply Depot, Sirsa and Halwara airfields were also destroyed.

Several Indian targets were hit by Pakistani missile systems, while in Adampur, a hypersonic missile was fired by a JF-17 Thunder and the S-400 air defense system, which is said to be worth one and a half billion dollars, was destroyed.
