RAWALPINDI (Kashmir English): Director General (DG) of Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, confirmed on Thursday that the nation has adopted effective steps against the presence of terrorists in Afghanistan.
He also reassured that the Pakistan Army would remain a powerful force to defend the nation against any attack.
The Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) was speaking when he visited Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology in Topi, Swabi. He talked about the recent border skirmish with Afghanistan, security issues, and social media’s role in disseminating information during his visit.
Lt Gen Chaudhry reiterated that the future of Pakistan lies in its youth, identifying their indispensable position in Pakistan’s development and prosperity.
He also commended the students and teachers of the university for honoring the martyrs and veterans of the Pakistan Armed Forces.
The students appreciated the role of the army in protecting the peace and progress of the country.
They also proposed more such sessions to address misinformation and propaganda, saying that these meetings clarified any doubts that they may have had regarding the actions of the armed forces.
