KOTLI (Kashmir English): A civil defense training session was organised for students at TEVTA Kotli under the direction of Director General Civil Defense Captain (R) Abrar Azam and under the supervision of Assistant Director Sardar Taazim Akhtar.
In the training session, Lady Chief Instructor Subiya Siddique, Chief Instructor Jamal Ali Subhani, and Instructor Chaudhry Ikram Rabbani conducted practical demonstrations on firefighting, first aid, artificial respiration, and explosive ordnance disposal to the students.
This training aimed to develop the ability of the youth to deal with emergencies and to raise awareness of the practical role of civil defense.
During the training session, the students actively participated in practical demonstrations and learned the right steps to take in different emergencies.
During this, practical demonstrations were given to the students on the firefighting process, first aid stages, artificial respiration methods, and explosive ordnance disposal, so that they could practically understand the role of civil defense.
Principal and District Officer Sardar Fahim Hanif Khan said on the occasion: “The role of Civil Defense is very important for the promotion of security and humanitarian service in the society.
Trained youth can play a significant role in protecting precious human lives in the event of any disaster or accident.”
In this training session, the students not only gained theoretical knowledge but also learned the skills of dealing with emergencies through practical demonstrations.
Under the supervision of Civil Defense experts, this session was a useful experience for the students, which exposed them to various aspects of civil defense and practical measures in emergencies.
The trained students were well aware of the practical methods of extinguishing fires, providing first aid, performing artificial respiration, and staying safe from explosives.
This session proved to be important in developing the ability of the youth to deal with emergencies and understanding the practical role of civil defense.
