ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The federal government on Monday hiked the petrol and diesel prices, effective Tuesday, August 18, four days after the prices of petroleum products were raised.
According to the notification issued by the Petroleum Division, the price of petrol was hiked by Rs 5.77 per liter, and high-speed diesel (HSD) by Rs 6.47 per liter.
“The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has revised the ex-depot prices of the petroleum products for August 18, 2026,” the notification stated.
With the latest revision, the new price of petrol has been fixed at Rs 331.20 per liter and diesel at Rs 390.42 per liter.

On August 13, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) raised the petrol price to Rs 325.43 per liter and the diesel price to Rs 383.95 per liter.
