ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The federal government on Tuesday raised the petrol and diesel prices for October 21, a day after a massive reduction in fuel prices.

According to the notification issued by the Petroleum Division, the price of petrol was hiked by Rs 0.88 per liter, and the high-speed diesel (HSD) by Rs 0.53 per liter.

“The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has revised the ex-depot prices of the petroleum products for October 21, 2026,” the notification stated.

With the latest revision, the new price of petrol has been fixed at Rs382.2 per liter and diesel at Rs389.80 per liter.

On October 19, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) cut the petrol price to Rs381.14 per liter and the diesel price to Rs389.27 per liter.

The revised prices are in line with the government’s ongoing policy of issuing fuel prices on a daily basis from Monday to Friday based on international oil markets.
