TEHRAN (Kashmir English): Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian in Tehran, where the Iranian President emphasized the need to enhance ongoing contact between Pakistan and Iran.
The Iranian President said Pakistan and Iran could further strengthen cooperation across all sectors and meet their respective needs by leveraging local and regional capabilities; he also noted that US pressure had fostered greater closeness and connectivity among Muslim nations.
Mohsin Naqvi affirmed Pakistan’s commitment to enhancing cooperation in all areas including trade, the economy, tourism, and politics and stated that Pakistan would further expand collaboration with Iran in the fields of culture and science.
