ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The federal government on Monday hiked the petrol and diesel prices, effective Tuesday, August 25, three days after an increase was observed.
According to the notification issued by the Petroleum Division, the price of petrol was hiked by Rs 0.39 per liter and high-speed diesel (HSD) by Rs 2.40 per liter.
“The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has revised the ex-depot prices of the petroleum products for August 25, 2026,” the notification stated.
With the latest revision, the new price of petrol has been fixed at Rs 341.98 per liter and diesel at Rs 370.69 per liter.
On August 21, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) raised the petrol price to Rs 341.59 per liter and the diesel price to Rs 368.29 per liter.
