ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The federal government on Friday reduced the petrol price and increased the diesel price for the weekend.
According to the notification issued by the Petroleum Division, the price of petrol was decreased by Rs0.66 per liter, and the price of high-speed diesel (HSD) was hiked by Rs0.52 per liter.
“The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has revised the ex-depot prices of the petroleum products from October 10 to 12, 2026,” the notification stated.
With the latest revision, the new price of petrol has been fixed at Rs398.30 per liter and diesel at Rs396.24 per liter.
On October 8, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) increased the petrol price to Rs398.96 per liter and the diesel price to Rs395.72 per liter.
The revised prices are in line with the government’s ongoing policy of issuing fuel prices on a daily basis from Monday to Friday based on international oil markets.
