ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The adventure-lovers of Islamabad now have one more option to choose from, as ParkView City has declared hot air balloon rides and powered paragliding as the permanent attractions of the housing society.
The project has been partnered with the Pak Gliding Adventure Club, and the organizers are offering it as a chance to see the capital from a completely different perspective, i.e., the soothing, breathtaking views from a balloon ride or the high-energy excitement of launching in a motorized paraglider.
ParkView City announced the project, positioning it as “adventure-meets-luxury” in their downtown area, which will attract tourists looking for a quick getaway, but this time, in the middle of the city.
Prices have not been officially revealed in detail, but it is a fairly reasonable alternative for anyone who wishes to experience skies as a part of their weekend plans.
Just like in any airborne activity, the participants have to adhere to the laid-down safety norms and operational directives, and the rides will usually be governed by the weather conditions and visibility.
