ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): NexGen Auto (Pvt.) Limited has revised the Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Prices (MSRP) of its Jaecoo and Omoda vehicle lineup following recent changes to Pakistan’s sales tax regime.
The revised prices bring mixed news for customers, with the Jaecoo J5 HEV variants set to become more expensive from October 1, 2026, while the Jaecoo J7 Premium has received a significant price reduction effective September 14.
Under the revised pricing, the Jaecoo J5 HEV Comfort will increase by Rs300,000, from Rs6.699 million to Rs6.999 million. Similarly, the J5 HEV Premium will rise from Rs7.699 million to Rs7.999 million.
In contrast, the Jaecoo J7 Premium has become Rs500,000 cheaper, with its price reduced from Rs10.499 million to Rs9.999 million.
The Omoda 7 Premium remains unchanged at Rs10.649 million.
NexGen Auto has also announced booking guidelines for J5 buyers. Customers with full payments already received by the company will be invoiced at the original price. Those with partial payments can retain the existing price if the remaining balance is paid by September 30, 2026.
New J5 bookings made before the deadline can also benefit from the existing MSRP, subject to full payment, dealer quota availability, and confirmation from NexGen Auto. From October 1, all new bookings will be charged at the revised prices.
The price changes come as Pakistan’s automotive market adjusts to recent tax and policy developments.
