Naqvi, Sarfraz Bugti vow to bring Quetta blast terrorists to justice

QUETTA (Kashmir English): Interior Minister Mohsin ‎Naqvi and Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti have vowed to bring Quetta blast terrorists to justice as they were presented initial report on the incident later in the day.

A special high-level meeting was held under the chairmanship of Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti, where an initial report on the blast near Quetta Chaman Railway Crossing was presented, according to a press release.

Senior officers from law enforcement agencies, including IG Balochistan Police, attended the meeting.

The participants of the meeting condemned in strongest possible terms the cowardly and brutal attack on innocent citizens.

Heartfelt sympathy and condolences were also expressed to the families of the martyrs.

The participants resolved that those involved in this incident would be brought to justice at all costs. Speaking on the occasion, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi stated that the federal government stands fully with the Balochistan government in this difficult and sorrowful time.

He said that terrorists have shown extreme brutality by targeting innocent citizens, and added that the great sacrifices of the martyrs will always be remembered, and their blood will not go in vain.

Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti, addressing the meeting, thanked the Interior Minister for standing with Balochistan people in every difficult time.

He said that the provincial government is indebted to the blood of the martyrs, and vowed that the terrorists responsible for this incident will be brought to justice.

He also announced to support families of the martyrs under any circumstances.

IG Balochistan and officers from other law enforcement agencies also briefed on the initial investigative report of the incident and the security situation.
