MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): Muzaffarabad Police continues its crackdown against drug dealers and anti-social elements. The city has tightened its grip on drug dealers.
In a recent raid, Muzaffarabad police arrested two suspects, whereas 02 kg 20 grams of heroin, 03 bottles of alcohol, 01 rifle with magazine, 01 pistol with magazine, 10 rounds of ammunition were recovered from the possession of the suspects.
According to the sources, heroin and illegal weapons were recovered from the possession of Muhammad Naseer Khan, son of Ghulam Hassan, resident of Arlian Patka.
The raid was conducted by Raja Faisal Shafiq, DSP Headquarters Muzaffarabad, Sub-Inspector Wajid Alvi, under the supervision of the police.
In another operation, ASI Munir Ahmed, along with the police team, recovered 03 bottles of alcohol from the possession of Bilal son of Sagheer, resident of Ward No. 26, Muzaffarabad, and remanded the accused in custody.
A case has been registered against the accused after the recovery of illegal substances, whereas an extensive investigation is underway to reveal more details about the illegal substances.
This move ensures that no drug is being supplied in the district, promoting a healthy lifestyle for youth.
