MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): The Saddar Police Station in Muzaffarabad has arrested a kidnapper and recovered a hostage, along with weapons.
The suspect, identified as Tausif, a resident of Mansehra, along with his accomplices, had forced his way into a house in Hattian Bala, breaking a window and kidnapping a girl at gunpoint.
The police received information about the incident from Rescue 15 Muzaffarabad and set up a blockade, leading to the arrest of the suspects at Wapda Cross despite strong resistance.
The police team, including SHO Wajahat Kazmi, ASI Raja Waqar, and police personnel, recovered weapons from the suspects and successfully rescued the kidnapped girl. The suspect’s vehicle was also seized.
