MIRPUR (Kashmir English): Mirpur Police have arrested an accused for uploading and sharing videos online against national institutions, including the Pakistan Army.
According to the police, a doctor, identified as Ahmed Mahmood, resident of Sector B/3 Mirpur, was taken into custody for misleading and inciting the public against national institutions.
Surgeon Dr. Ahmed Mahmood has been charged under Sections 123A/489y, 504/505, and 506 APC, the police spokesperson added.
The accused has been arrested, and further investigation is underway, he added.
The operation was carried out by SHO Muhammad Arshad Chaudhry and DFC Saghir Qureshi on the special instructions of SSP District Mirpur Khawar Ali Shaukat.
The authorities have reiterated that no person can be allowed to disrespect national institutions and the Pakistan Army, which sacrifices lives for the country and nation.
