MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): Mobile internet services have been restored across Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) after nearly four months of suspension, bringing relief to residents, students, online business owners and other affected groups.
The restoration follows an announcement made by the Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir last night, after which mobile internet services provided by all mobile network operators resumed across the region.
The prolonged suspension had created significant difficulties for citizens who rely on internet connectivity for education, business operations and everyday activities.
Online businesses faced disruptions and financial losses, while students struggled to access digital learning resources and educational materials.
The suspension also affected other sectors, including traffic police operations, which increasingly depend on digital connectivity for routine tasks.
Residents have welcomed the restoration, expressing hope that the resumption of internet services will help revive business activities, improve access to educational resources and make daily life easier.
For online entrepreneurs and digital service providers, the restoration is expected to provide an opportunity to resume normal operations and reconnect with customers.
Citizens have described the move as a positive development and expressed hope that mobile internet services will remain uninterrupted in the future.
