Mirpur police bust bike lifter gang, drug peddlers

MIRPUR (Kashmir English): Mirpur Police has conducted successful operations against the bike lifter gang and drug dealers, recovering a total of 15 stolen motorcycles and 710 grams of hashish.

According to the police spokesperson, the Mangla police team carried out the operations under the supervision of DSP Mirpur, Sikandar Azam, and SHO Mangla Police Station, Sadaqat Hussain.

The police arrested two accused, Adil Butt and Faisal Jamshed, in an operation at Sahib Chak with 710 grams of hashish.

In a separate operation, the police recovered 10 stolen motorcycles on the information of the accused Arsalan Shah, imprisoned at Mangla Police Station.

In total, Mangla Police said that it has recovered a total of 15 motorcycles so far, while further investigation is underway.

In this regard, SSP Mirpur, Khurram Iqbal, congratulated the team on their success and emphasized the importance of combating the scourge of drugs and recovering stolen property.
