ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): MG Motors Pakistan has launched the petrol-fueled MG HS ICE in Pakistan, enhancing the HS, which was previously only available in hybrid models.
The SUV has a starting price of Rs. 8,799,999, and bookings are open with a deposit of Rs. 1.5 million.
MG HS ICE Engine and Performance
MG HS ICE is powered by a turbocharged 1.5-liter petrol engine that generates a maximum of 165 hp and 250 Nm of torque and is equipped with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.
The SUV’s dimensions are 4,655 mm (l), 1,890 mm (w), and 1,664 mm (h), with a wheelbase of 2,765 mm, and it rolls on 225/55 R19 tires.
Safety Features
MG has put a variety of safety features in the HS ICE, including 7 airbags, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), and a 360-degree camera that also provides a see-through chassis view.
The MG HS ICE sports interiors are outfitted with a 12.3-inch infotainment screen coupled with an eight-speaker sound system. The vehicle is also compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
The vehicle has features such as heated seats at the front, wireless charging, and a panoramic sunroof as standard. Additionally, there is rear privacy glass, heated side mirrors, Africa-style windscreen wipers, and a driver’s seat memory function.
The driver’s seat is adjustable six ways, along with electric adjustment for lumbar support. The passenger’s seat is adjustable in four ways.
Available Colours
Five variants are available for the MG HS ICE color-wise: York White, Black Pearl, Flare Red, Clever Grey, and Cashmere Silver.
The company is providing the customers with MG’s iSmart app that allows the owners to connect to their cars using a smartphone and access certain functions.
Pricing and Reservations for MG HS ICE
The MG HS ICE has been priced at Rs8,799,999 by MG Motors Pakistan. After the introductory phase, the price is anticipated to increase to Rs8,999,000.
Currently, bookings are available, with the initial deposit needed for the SUV being Rs1,500,000.
This petrol variant provides another choice to people in Pakistan in the existing MG HS range, more so to buyers who prefer a traditional petrol engine than any hybrid.
