ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The Metro Bus service in the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad has been partially suspended following directives from the district administration, citing security and administrative concerns.

According to officials, the service has been completely suspended between IJP Road and Pak Secretariat, while operations remain functional from Saddar to Faizabad to facilitate commuters.

The temporary restrictions have been imposed as a precautionary measure to prevent any untoward incidents. Passengers have been advised to plan their journeys accordingly and expect possible disruptions along the affected routes.

Authorities are expected to restore normal operations once the situation improves and the administration gives further instructions.

The latest development has affected public transport in the twin cities, particularly for commuters who rely on the Metro Bus service for daily travel.
