MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has received a significant political boost in constituency LA-30 Muzaffarabad-4 after the party’s central leader and former member of the Kashmir Council, Engineer Rafaqat Hussain Awan, announced his withdrawal from the election race in favor of PML-N’s nominated candidate, Dr. Mustafa Bashir Abbasi.
The decision is being viewed as an important political development ahead of the elections, with party leaders expressing confidence that the move will strengthen PML-N’s position in the constituency.
According to sources, Engineer Rafaqat Hussain Awan has decided to actively participate in the election campaign of Dr. Mustafa Bashir Abbasi following his withdrawal.
Owing to his political influence, organizational network, and strong personal contacts in LA-30, his support is expected to further consolidate the party’s vote bank.
Sources said that important consultations were held between Engineer Rafaqat Hussain Awan and Dr. Mustafa Bashir Abbasi regarding political cooperation and election strategy. During the meeting, both leaders agreed to work jointly to ensure the success of the PML-N candidate in the upcoming elections.
Political observers believe the development could play a key role in shaping the electoral contest in LA-30 Muzaffarabad-4, where PML-N is seeking to strengthen its campaign ahead of polling.
