NEW YORK (Kashmir English): Fresh leaks continue to flesh out Apple’s iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, with a new report now pointing to a noticeable design change on the front of these models.

The update centers on Dynamic Island, which could become much smaller this year, and this Dynamic Island cutout is on both Pro models.

The new cutout will come with a width of 13.49mm, which is clearly a drop from the current 20.76mm cutout used in the current iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max.

The difference is not minor, as the new size accounts for about a 35% reduction compared to existing models. Users will, if correct, see more usable screen space at the top of the display.

The smaller cutout could give the phone a cleaner look, as reported in the new leaks.

This might relate to another rumor, which says that Apple will begin moving the Face ID hardware below the display with the iPhone 18 Pro Max and other models. If Apple continues to hide more components beneath the screen, it would reduce the cutout space naturally.

Moreover, the shine of the next iPhone from Apple may be brighter than it has ever been before. While the base model of iPhone 18 is rumored to launch in early 2027, sporting a similar design to the existing iPhone 17 model, leaks indicate it may feature a screen that shines brighter than before.

The screen size of the iPhone 18, as hinted by leaks, will measure 6.27 inches, featuring an LTPO OLED display, a 120Hz refresh rate, and supporting Dynamic Island, just as in past devices.

Contrary to the standard iOS releases by Apple in the month of September every year, the projected timing for the arrival of the iPhone 18 is earlier in 2027. Apparently, the device is expected to make an official entry into the markets.
