PESHAWAR (Kashmir English): The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has inaugurated a special laptop scheme in support of students with visual impairments and blindness all over the province.
The approved institutions’ eligible applicants will be able to apply online via the Social Welfare Department’s portal. The program will not be restricted to a specific number of students and will support all visually impaired students who have been admitted to a recognized college, university, or madrassa.
Besides that, the applicants need to be permanent residents of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and should have a valid disability certificate from the Social Welfare Department. The applications will be online on the MIS form, and that will be the only way to apply for a laptop.
How to Apply for the Laptop Scheme
The laptops will be given out according to merit and funds availability. The talented and skilled students will have the first chance. The eligible students may please apply at the official web address: www.swkpk.gov.pk.
