MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): A rally was held in Muzaffarabad, the capital of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, on Sunday to commemorate Kashmir Martyrs’ Day and honor the sacrifices of the martyrs of July 13, 1931.

The rally began at Dumel Bridge and concluded at the office of the United Nations Observer Mission, where participants submitted a memorandum highlighting the Kashmir issue and calling for international attention.

Participants carried the flags of Pakistan and Azad Kashmir while chanting slogans against Indian actions in Indian-administered Kashmir. Speakers paid tribute to the martyrs of July 13, 1931, describing their sacrifices as a symbol of the Kashmiri people’s struggle.

They also honored those who have lost their lives in the Kashmir conflict since 1947.

The event concluded with participants reaffirming solidarity with the people of Kashmir and pledging to continue raising awareness of the Kashmir issue at international forums.
