MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): Kashmir is and will always remain a part of Pakistan, said Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, as he reaffirmed Pakistan’s clear and long-standing position on the matter.
Speaking during the Hilal Talks 2025 session while interacting with teachers, Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif made it clear that there should be no confusion over Pakistan’s stance on Kashmir.
Turning to Balochistan’s regional security, the DG ISPR blamed India for fuelling unrest in Balochistan. He said terrorist groups active in the province were being trained and supported by Indian intelligence agencies. “India is the root cause of instability across the region,” he stated.
He said, “The agents of Fitna al-Hindustan are enemies of Balochistan’s development. These terrorists are trained, funded, and even medically treated by India, using Afghanistan as their base of operations.”
He further cautioned that those acting on behalf of Fitna-al-Hindustan are working against Balochistan’s development. Stressing the province’s importance, he said, “Balochistan is deeply embedded in our economy and culture,” and described it as an essential part of Pakistan’s future.
He pointed out Balochistan’s vast potential, expressing hope that it will one day become the most prosperous province in Pakistan.
