Journalist Hassan Ayub dismisses grace period rumours, says govt and army on same page

ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Senior Journalist Hassan Ayub said that “There is no truth in the speculations regarding the government’s six-month grace period and Wonder Boy story in the market.”

Hassan, in a podacast said that the government and the army are on the same page, and the coordination between Prime MinisterShehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal General Asim Munir is clear proof of Pakistan’s success in the world.

Hassan Ayub added that the stories about the Wonder Boy and Grace Periods may be desires from certain individuals, but it has no reality on the grounds.

Both the government and the establishment have set a foreign reserves target of 60 billion dollars annually.

The Senior Journalist noted that if the government achieves its set target, then this will boost the confidence of the investor and the business community.

He said that the current political and military leadership has been praised by various world leaders, including the United States President Donald Trump.

Pakistan has emerged as a powerful player in the current scenario at the world level, which has caused distress in people’s minds who do not want Pakistan successssful.

For the past few days, rumors of differences between the government and the army have been fueled in various media circles as part of a well-thought-out plan, as per sources.

The Sources added that “The Pakistan Army Spokesperson reiterated with utmost clarity in his January 6 press conference that there is full coordination between the federal government and the security agencies, and no one should have any ambiguity in this regard.

Even before this, the Pakistan Army Spokesperson has strongly denied such nefarious attempts and has taken a clear stance that the army as an institution is in full coordination with government measures and will always work alongside the government for better governance.”

Earlier, the military spokesperson termed such attempts as a conspiracy of political and negative elements who resort to such rumors and propaganda to fulfill their political ambitions.
