ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Senior journalist Hassan Ayub, citing government sources, claimed that the Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb and his team will continue their positions, rejecting the rumors that they might be replaced.
In a post on X, Ayub said, “According to government sources, the Federal Finance Minister and his economic team will be retained.”
حکومتی ذرائع کے مطابق وفاقی وزیرِ خزانہ اور ان کی معاشی ٹیم کو برقرار رکھا جائے گا، لہٰذا اس ضمن میں ہونے والی تمام گفتگو محض قیاس آرائیاں ہیں جن کا حقیقت سے کوئی تعلق نہیں۔

“Therefore, all discussions in this regard are mere speculations that have no connection to reality,” he added.
Earlier, some renowned journalists claimed that Finance Minister Aurangzeb might be replaced for not fulfilling his duties as expected.;
