ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The core members of the proscribed Joint Awami Action Committee (JAAC), Shaukat Nawaz Mir and Raja Sohaib Javed, were arrested from Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) on Tuesday, sources said.
According to the police sources, both leaders were wanted in various cases and were arrested from the Line of Control (LoC) when they were trying to escape.
The banned Joint Action Committee is accused of inciting the people against the state in the guise of public rights.
