ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The Government of Pakistan has not announced any additional public holiday in connection with Operation Bunyan-ul-Marsoos, as the day coincides with Sunday, which is already observed as a weekly holiday across the country.
According to sources, no official notification has been issued regarding an extra holiday. Officials said that since Sunday is already a nationwide weekly off, there is no immediate need to declare a separate public holiday.
Authorities, however, noted that the situation may be reviewed if required. For now, all public and private institutions are expected to follow the regular Sunday closure schedule.
