NEW YORK (Kashmir English): Iran has warned of decisive response in case of US aggression in a written a letter to Secretary-General United Nations Antonio Guterres.

Iran’s permanent mission to the United Nations has written a letter to Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, saying that US President Donald Trump’s recent statements indicate a real threat of military aggression.

The letter said that Iran does not seek war nor does it seek to escalate tensions, but that it will take strong and decisive action in self-defense if attacked. Iran added that in the event of any military action, military bases, installations and other assets of opposing forces in the region would be considered legitimate targets.

The Iranian mission also referred to the US president’s social media post in its letter, in which he had said that if Iran did not sign a deal, the US may have to use the airfields of Diego Garcia and RAF Fairford to eliminate the potential threat.

Iran called on the UN to take note of the current situation and play its role in reducing the rising tension in the region.

US may Attack Iran

Moreover, The American newspaper Wall Street Journal revealed that the US President is considering a limited military attack against Iran. According to the American newspaper report, this attack could target Iranian military or government sites.

According to the American newspaper, the purpose of considering a limited attack is to force Iran to accept the nuclear deal. If Iran does not accept the deal, the attack could escalate to a full-scale war.

It should be remembered that the US President has previously made it clear that he prefers diplomacy on the issue of Iran, but at the same time he has warned that military force can also be used if necessary.

In his address to the first meeting of the Gaza Peace Board yesterday, the US President had threatened that if Iran does not make an agreement, the consequences would be very serious.

The US President said that Iran will not be allowed to have nuclear weapons under any circumstances. Now is the time for Iran to follow the path of peace with us.
