ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Infinix is offering its new smartphone, Infinix Note Edge, with the silicone carbon battery and a very attractive price tag. Infinix, the Chinese phone maker, has also introduced a new smartphone to its collection.
It is named the Infinix NOTE Edge and will be available for sale all over the world. One of the main features that makes it different from the rest of the smartphone crowd is its slender body (7.2 mm thick, whereas the iPhone 17 is almost 7.95 mm). The phone, however, comes with a 6,500 mAh silicone-carbon battery, which is no doubt very powerful.
To illustrate, a typical smartphone is powered by either a 3,000 mAh or a 5,000 mAh battery. Silicon-carbon batteries are seen as the “Holy Grail” in the smartphone battery area that not only have the power to draw but also can hold it longer and come with a faster charge. With a total weight of 185 grams, the gadget is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 7100 SoC chip.
Furthermore, it has a 6.78-inch, 1.5K AMOLED panel with a color depth of 120Hz plus refresh rate. Regarding the smartphone’s aesthetics, it is offered in four different hues and incorporates a “3D curved” silhouette which should increase the user’s comfort when holding it.
The new smartphone is provisioned with 8GB RAM and either 128GB or 256GB of internal memory. The NOTE Edge supports two SIM cards and runs on Android 16 and XOS 16. The phone is expected to cost around $200; however, prices will differ from one market to another.
