ATHMUQAM (Kashmir English): The Indian army has initiated an act of war by firing flares, or light shells, from the Athmuqam sector in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), resulting in a quick response from the Pakistan Army.
According to sources, as light shells bounced off, reports from the local authorities indicated that numerous shells were fired at local population areas.
On the other hand, the Pakistan Army retaliated and destroyed the Indian artillery, in a befitting reply to the shelling done by Indian forces in the Leepa Valley, after which complete silence prevailed at the check post. After this, there was peace in the area for an hour.
The district administration informs people to stay indoors to avoid any difficult situation. India is trying to strike the Line of Control with drones.
