SRINAGAR (Kashmir English): In an attempt to reframe the Kashmiri freedom struggle as “Nasha Mukht Bharat Abhiyan”, India has launched a fresh crackdown on innocent youth in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the State Investigation Agency (SIA) issued proclamation proceedings against freedom activists, branding them as absconders in fabricated narcotics cases.
One such order was issued against a youth from Karnah, Kupwara. The proclamation was executed at his native residence in the presence of an Executive Magistrate and witnesses, following court directions.
New Delhi continues to target Kashmiri youth
The case was initially registered at Police Station Parimpora in January 2025.
SIA has since filed a charge sheet against seven persons who are now facing trial, as New Delhi continues to use narcotics allegations to malign and target Kashmiri youth.
