PARIS (Kashmir English): President International Kashmir Peace Forum (IKPF) France, Zahid Iqbal Hashmi has strongly condemned the upcoming visit of Indian Home Minister Amit Shah to Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir today.
Shah responsible for killings of Kashmiris
In a statement to the media, Hashmi declared that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah are responsible for the oppression and killings of innocent Kashmiris.
He warned India that her attempts to enslave the people of Jammu and Kashmir through military force, arrests, and bullets will never succeed.
Shah is scheduled to visit the occupied territory today (April 7), and Kashmiris around the globe are going to protest during his visit.
Zahid Hashmi described India as an occupying and imperialist force and added that the BJP government has snatched the statehood, identity, and civil-political rights of the Kashmiri people.
Despite deploying over one million troops and enforcing black laws, Zahid Hashmi said, Delhi rulers have failed to suppress the spirit of the Kashmiri people.
He further said that the people of the region view the architect of the August 5, 2019 constitutional revocation with deep resentment and hatred.
“India must realize that no amount of military might can subdue the will of the Kashmiri people,” Zahid Iqbal Hashmi said.
He called on the people of Jammu and Kashmir and their supporters worldwide to join the social media campaign #EndIndianOccupation during Amit Shah’s visit and raise their voice against India’s continued repression and state terrorism.
