MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): Inspector General (IG) Azad Jammu and Kashmir Police Liaquat Ali Malik has issued a stern warning to the violent and anti-state elements, rejecting the demands for talks outright and saying that those who martyr and injure police personnel will not get any concessions.
Talking to the media in Muzaffarabad, IG Azad Kashmir Liaquat Ali Malik said that no leniency can be shown to those who brutally martyred police personnel, slit their chests and desecrate their bodies. Can anyone even imagine sitting at the negotiating table with the murderers of their brother and brutal beasts?
He said that many of our soldiers have been martyred while maintaining law and order, while most of the personnel are seriously injured after being shot.
The IG clarified that the job of the police is not to find political solutions, political solutions are always found with politicians and if someone is interested, they can come and do politics, no one stopped them, on one hand, threats are being made to behead the forces, bodies are being dumped and on the other hand, suggestions are being given to hold talks, which is not acceptable in any way. Liaqat Ali Malik, while mentioning the hooliganism and public harassment of violent elements, said that these elements are also targeting ordinary citizens.
He cited an incident and said that an innocent citizen who was going to his mother’s funeral was kidnapped and his legs were broken, there can be no political solution for such tyrants.
He said that the state will deal with those who take the law into their own hands, behead the police and torture innocent citizens with full force and no compromise will be made on public order.
