ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The Women’s Asia Cup 2026 is happening right now. On Saturday, the Indian women’s team went up against the Pakistan women’s team at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai.

As the match was played, Pakistan’s captain Fatima Sana sent off opening batter Shafali Verma, and now she has been punished by the ICC for her behavior.

Harmanpreet Kaur and her team managed to beat Fatima Sana’s girls for yet another time in an international tournament. These days, the India vs Pakistan women’s matches have been quite one-sided, as we saw last Saturday when Pakistan’s team got all out for just 55 runs, which proves the gap between the two rival teams.

ICC penalizes Fatima Sana

Fatima Sana has been fined 10% of her match fee for breaching level 1 of the ICC conduct code. Right after Shafali Verma was out caught and bowled, Fatima Sana made a disrespectful gesture.
