HATTIAN BALA (Kashmir English): A Pakistan Zindabad rally was organized by the Azad Kashmir (AJK) branch of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference at Chakothi along the Line of Control.
Former Prime Minister Raja Muhammad Farooq Haider, Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Dr. Muhammad Mushtaq, and Convener of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference AJK. Ghulam Muhammad Safi participated in the rally.
PPP leaders Sahibzada Ashfaq Zafar, Pervez Shah, Shaukat Javed Mir, Zeeshan Haider, Ashfaq Majeed, Mushtaq-ul-Islam, Zahid Ashraf, Raja Khadim, Abdul Hameed Lone, Uzair Ahmed Ghazali, Zahid Safi, and others also attended the event.
Participants held Pakistani and Azad Kashmir flags and pro-Pakistan and anti-India placards and chanted slogans in favour of Pakistan Army.
They chanted “Armed Forces zindabad,” and “Field Marshal Asim Munir Zindabad” with sky-piercing voices.
Participants of the rally marched towards the Line of Control, showered flowers on Pak Army officers and soldiers performing their duties, congratulated them on their success, and presented bouquets.
AJK people salute armed forces
Speakers said that the Kashmiri nation on both sides of the LoC salutes, pays tribute to, and congratulates Pakistan’s brave armed forces and Field Marshal General Asim Munir for inflicting a crushing defeat on an enemy many times their size.
“We congratulate the Prime Minister of Pakistan and the Foreign Minister for humiliating India on the diplomatic front. Srinagar is the land of our dreams, and that is our true destination.”
They assured the people of Srinagar that one day they too will be blessed with the gift of freedom, and the ominous line of the ceasefire will break.
They said that Pakistan is the center of their hopes adding the Armed Forces of Pakistan gave a strong response, which boosted the morale of Kashmiris, making the Kashmir issue a flashpoint at the international level.
Speakers said that the international community should immediately play its role in resolving the Kashmir issue according to UN resolutions and the will of the Kashmiri people.
