ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The government has issued the procedure for obtaining subsidized petrol under Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s special relief scheme.
To register for subsidized petrol under this special scheme, citizens should text 9771 with the following details: REG, CNIC number, vehicle registration number, province name, and registration date.
You will receive a confirmation message upon successful registration. Before visiting a petrol pump, send a message with “tok” to 9771 to obtain a token number; you can then present this token number at the petrol pump to avail the subsidized fuel.
Once you have the token number—which specifies the fuel quantity and validity period—you can present it at the petrol pump to purchase petrol at the subsidized rate.
