ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has shared that the CGI Scholarship 2027 from Thailand provides full funding for Master’s programs to international students studying science-related disciplines.
For the 2027 academic year, the Chulabhorn Graduate Institute (CGI) Post-Graduate Scholarship Program in Thailand has opened its application portal. This program is for internationally recognized and fully financed Master’s degrees in science at CGI, accessible via the official CGI scholarship website.
HEC Pakistan is just acting as a promoter for this scholarship, with absolutely no financial investment. All scholarships and operations are handled directly by CGI Thailand and are awarded to international students based on merit.
The application portal for the CGI Scholarship 2027 closes on August 31, 2026, and all students must apply within that time, along with uploading all their supporting documents via the given platform.
Available Fields of Study
The scholarship program allows candidates to pursue the following Master’s degrees:
1. Applied Biological Sciences
2. Environmental Health
3. Environmental Toxicology
4. Chemical Sciences
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must satisfy the following eligibility criteria for the program;
• Candidates below the age of 30 years are eligible for this scholarship (Age relaxation will not be granted)
• The candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree and a CGPA of at least 2.75/4.00 or its equivalent.
• Applicants should be specialized in Chemistry, Biology, Biological Sciences, Molecular Biology, Environmental Sciences, Medicine, Medical Technology, Pharmacy, or Pharmaceutical Sciences (or a field very closely related to these disciplines).
• The candidate must have some laboratory-based experience
• The candidate should be proficient in the English language; prove by TOEFL/IELTS/University letter of English as the medium of instruction, or any other evidence acceptable to CGI.
• Candidates must write and submit a Statement of Purpose outlining their interests and motivation to study the selected course.
