ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rain, strong winds, and hail in most parts of the country including Kashmir in the coming days, which could damage crops and solar panels.

Rain and hail are also expected in Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, increasing the risk of landslides in hilly areas.
According to the PMD, strong winds, thunderstorms, heavy rain, and hail are expected in the federal capital Islamabad, as well as Rawalpindi, Murree, Galiyat, Attock, and Jhelum.
The Meteorological Department has advised citizens to take precautionary measures to avoid inconvenience.
On the other hand, the weather will remain uncertain in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa. Rain is predicted in Mardan, Nowshera, Charsadda, Chitral, Dir, Swat, Malakand, Shangla, Abbottabad, Mansehra, Kohistan, Battagram, Haripur, Torghar, Swabi, Kohat, Hangu, Karak, Bannu, Lakki Marwat, D.I. Khan, Tank, Khyber, and Kurram. However, the southern districts will experience extremely hot weather.
Most areas in Punjab will experience hot and dry weather, but rain may occur in Rawalpindi Division, Murree, Galiyat, and northern areas.
The plains of Sindh and Balochistan will be in the grip of severe heat, and temperatures are likely to remain higher than usual in the coming days.
The Meteorological Department has advised citizens, farmers, and travelers to be cautious, avoid unnecessary travel, and ensure the protection of electrical appliances or solar systems in open areas.
