ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The federal government on Monday hiked the petrol and diesel prices, effective Wednesday, September 2, a day after the petrol price was raised.

According to the notification issued by the Petroleum Division, the price of petrol was raised by Rs 1.08 per liter and high-speed diesel (HSD) by Rs 0.51 per liter.

“The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has revised the ex-depot prices of the petroleum products for September 2, 2026,” the notification stated.

With the latest revision, the new price of petrol has been fixed at Rs 342.79 per liter and diesel at Rs 370.41 per liter.

On September 1, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) hiked the petrol price to Rs 342.79 per liter and lowered the diesel price to Rs 370.41 per liter.

The revised prices are in line with the government’s ongoing policy of issuing fuel prices on a daily basis from Monday to Friday based on international oil markets.
