ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The Government of Pakistan has announced an official student tour to Türkiye for Matric exam toppers from all boards, as per a circular from the Inter Boards Coordination Commission (IBCC).
The program, initiated by the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training in collaboration with the Directorate General of Immigration and Passports, will enable students from Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISEs) throughout the country to travel to Türkiye on official passports.
Requirements for Students
According to the advisory, students are required to meet certain conditions before their departure:
- A medical report issued by a government hospital stating physical fitness for travel.
- Written permission of parents or guardians for participation.
- All students should organize two white shalwar kameez suits with footwear, while a green blazer will be arranged by the ministry.
- Students can carry a single shoulder bag, whereas laptops and cameras are not allowed.
- Parents’ or guardians’ contact numbers should be provided in advance.
The IBCC has also ordered that the cost of pick and drop services will be taken care of by the concerned boards.
Deadline for Documentation
All BISEs have been directed to forward passports and the necessary documents of selected students to the IBCC Secretariat, Islamabad, by September 19, 2025, to be sent further to the concerned authorities.
Supervision and Coordination
Chairpersons of all BISEs are responsible for maintaining the smooth implementation of the program and counseling students through the process required.
