ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) announced on Monday a delay in the final results of the CSS 2025 examination.
The commission announced that it will publish the results in April 2026 because they still need to establish which vacancies will remain unfilled. The FPSC public notice explained that successful candidates will be determined after the 54th Common Training Programme (CTP) begins on March 27, 2026, at the Civil Services Academy in Lahore.
The commission announced that they need to determine the final number of posts before it can proceed with its operations. The CTP-54 commencement will determine total vacancies, which will lead to the official CSS 2025 results announcement.
The public notice confirmed that the final results of the CSS 2025 examination are expected in April 2026.
Major Change in CSS 2026 Examination
Earlier, the Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) made a major change in the CSS 2026 exams (CSS 2026).
According to media reports, the major change for the CSS 2026 is that there will be only one paper of the compulsory subjects exam in a day, whereas previously 2 papers were taken in a day.
The decision will be effective from the CSS exam 2026 until further notice. The move is aimed at facilitating the candidates.
According to the announcement, the amendment in the examination procedure aims to make the conduct of the exams more organized and smooth. The detailed timetable of the CSS exam 2026 will be released soon.
It should be noted that candidates from all over the country participate in the CSS exams.
