KOLPUR (Kashmir English): Security forces killed four terrorists during an intelligence-based operation in the Ispelinji area near Kolpur in Balochistan’s Kachhi District, security sources said.
Sources, the forces surrounded the suspected hideout after receiving intelligence inputs, leading to a heavy exchange of fire between the two sides.
The sources said four militants were killed during the operation. Two security personnel were martyred, while three others sustained injuries and are receiving medical treatment.
Security forces have launched a search and clearance operation in the surrounding area to locate any militants who may have escaped during the encounter.
