MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): Former Chief Justice of Azad Kashmir High Court, Sadaqat Hussain Raja, who has recently retired, has applied for the restoration of his advocacy license on Thursday.
He wrote a letter to the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Bar Council in this regard.
In a letter, he stated that his license was initially granted by the AJK Bar Council but was dispensed with due to his elevation as a High Court Judge.
“I am pleased to inform you that I have completed my services. I wish to resume my legal practice to contribute to our legal system once,” he wrote.
Former Chief Justice Sadaqat Hussain Raja retired earlier this month.
Following this retirement, the AJK President appointed Justice Sardar Liaqat Hussain as Chief Justice.
