FIA releases 2026 Red Book, lists 1,804 wanted terrorists

ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has released its 2026 Red Book, listing 1,804 high-profile and most-wanted terrorists sought by federal and provincial counterterrorism departments.

According to the 1,878-page document, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has the highest number of wanted suspects at 1,179, followed by Balochistan with 249, Sindh with 177, and Punjab with 107.

The FIA’s Counter-Terrorism Wing lists 42 suspects, while Islamabad has 30 and Gilgit-Baltistan 20, according to provincial Counter-Terrorism Departments and federal security wings.

The list includes individuals affiliated with around 15 militant organizations and their factions, including Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jaish-e-Mohammed, Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), Jamaat-ul-Ahrar, Lashkar-e-Islam, Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), Lashkar-e-Jhangvi, Islamic State Khorasan and Al-Qaeda.

It includes prominent figures such as Jaish-e-Mohammed chief Masood Azhar, whose entry carries an updated bounty of seven million Pakistani rupees, along with other operational cadres.
