FAISALABAD (Kashmir English): Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) has announced big relief for its employees after receiving approval from the Board of Directors to implement the updated pay scales and allowances prescribed by the federal government.
According to the details, the FESCO Board approved the new Basic Pay Scale to be implemented starting July 1, 2026, after its meeting held on August 22, 2026.
Besides the increase in Basic Pay Scales, the Disparity Reduction Allowance (DRA) 2026, according to the prescribed rates of conveyance allowance, is approved for employees from BPS-1 to BPS-22.
The increase in the Special Conveyance Allowance for differently-abled employees has also been approved.
These developments come after many notifications issued by the federal Finance Division in July regarding the Basic Pay Scale, DRA 2026, Conveyance allowances, and Special Conveyance Allowance for disabled employees.
In addition, FESCO management also approved the implementation of five important notifications of the Finance Division regarding salary and allowances.
Moreover, the pension has also been increased, benefiting eligible pensioners according to the government policy applicable to them.
