LAHORE (Kashmir English): Fans are likely to be allowed to enter the stadium for the play-off matches and the final of the ongoing edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL 11).

According to media reports, the management of the PSL 11 has requested the Prime Minister that the splendor of the PSL has dimmed without fans, and the lack of enthusiasm for the PSL 11 should end.

Cricket fans should be allowed to enter the stadium in the play-off matches and the final of the PSL 11.

Reports added that the PSL management wants fans to be allowed in the playoffs, eliminators, and final to be held in Lahore.

Reports added that all the franchises have also put a lot of pressure on the PSL management on the issue of allowing fans.

However, the decision to allow fans to enter the Pakistan Super League depends on the discretion of the Prime Minister of Pakistan.

It should be remembered that in view of the energy crisis due to the Iran-US ceasefire, the Pakistan Cricket Board had decided to hold the ongoing edition of the PSL without spectators, while the event was limited to two cities, Lahore and Karachi.

In this regard, PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi had said that in the context of the regional situation, the Prime Minister was consulted regarding the holding of the PSL, after which it was decided to continue the league on a limited scale.

The PCB Chairman announced that all matches will be held without spectators (crowd) and fans will not be allowed to enter the stadium. The PSL XI matches have been limited to only two cities, Lahore and Karachi, while other expenses are also being reduced as part of the austerity campaign.
