Defence Day observed with solemn ceremonies across Pakistan

RAWALPINDI (Kashmir English): On the occasion of Defence and Martyrs Day, solemn ceremonies were held across the country to pay tribute to the martyrs.

In the ceremonies held at GHQ Rawalpindi, Malir Garrison Karachi, and Balochistan, the Pakistan Army’s elegant contingents saluted the Martyrs’ Memorial; civil and military officials laid flowers and offered Fateha.

On this occasion, meetings were also held with the families of the martyrs, and tributes were paid to their unparalleled sacrifices for the country.

On the occasion of Defence and Martyrs Day, a solemn ceremony was held at GHQ Rawalpindi, where the elegant contingent of the Pakistan Army saluted the Martyrs’ Memorial.

During the ceremony, the Adjutant General of the Pakistan Army attended the Martyrs’ Memorial and laid flowers. The Adjutant General also had a special meeting with the families of the martyrs and expressed solidarity with them.

During the meeting with the families of the martyrs, the Adjutant General listened to their problems and assured them of all possible cooperation.

A grand ceremony was also held in Malir Garrison on the occasion of Pakistan’s Defense and Martyrs Day, in which the Chief Minister of Sindh, Corps Commander Karachi and senior officials of Sindh Rangers and police participated.

During the ceremony, the Chief Minister of Sindh and Corps Commander Karachi laid a wreath at the Martyrs’ Memorial, offered Fateha and prayed.

A well-armed contingent of the Pakistan Army saluted the Martyrs’ Memorial at the Defense and Martyrs’ Day ceremony.

The Chief Minister of Sindh and Corps Commander Karachi also met the families of the martyrs and paid tribute to the unparalleled sacrifices of the martyrs.

Grand ceremonies were also held at various places in Balochistan on the occasion of Defense and Martyrs’ Day.

The Governor of Balochistan, Chief Minister of Balochistan, Corps Commander and other senior civil and military officials attended the main ceremony held in Quetta.

In Quetta, a well-armed contingent of the Pakistan Army saluted at the Martyrs’ Memorial, while civil and military officials laid flowers at the memorial and offered Fateha.

On the occasion of Defense and Martyrs’ Day, the highways in Gwadar were decorated with banners of national determination, sacrifice, perseverance and courage.

FC Balochistan also organized a grand ceremony to pay tribute to the martyrs.

On this occasion, the citizens of Balochistan also expressed their love for the homeland and paid great tribute to the great sacrifices of the martyrs.
