PPP leader Chaudhry Yasin acquitted in Kashmir Housing Society case

ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): In a recent development, the President of Pakistan Peoples Party-Azad Kashmir, Chaudhry Muhammad Yasin, has been acquitted by  Federal Investigation Authority (FIA) Special Court Judge Shahrukh Arjumand in the Jammu and Kashmir Housing Society Agro Farm case.

Renowned lawyer Sardar Gulnaz Khaliq Advocate represented Chaudhry Yasin in the case.

Earlier, a case was registered against Chaudhry Muhammad Yasin for corruption in the affairs of the Kashmir Housing Society and purchasing 70 kanals of land worth more than Rs 8.5 crore. However, the court could not find any evidence of his wrongdoing due to and the court honorably acquitted Muhammad Yasin.

It is important to note here that Chaudhry Muhammad Yasin was the chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Housing Society from 2004 to 2015.
