SOUTH WAZIRISTAN (Kashmir English): Five people, including four children and a woman, were injured in an unprovoked shelling by the Afghan Taliban on Pakistani civilians in the border areas adjacent to Angoor Adda in South Waziristan.

According to the security sources, a mortar shell fired by Afghan forces hit the house of local citizens, Karim Khan and Rahmatullah.

Five people, including four children and a woman, were injured in the mortar shell explosion. The injured include thirteen, ten, eight, and three-year-old children.

All the injured were shifted to DHQ Hospital Wana. The local people have expressed deep sorrow and regret over this action by Afghanistan.

It should be noted that a few days ago, three people were injured in the same area as a result of unprovoked firing from Afghanistan.

The Afghan Taliban and the Khawarij elements affiliated with them have always targeted the general public to achieve their nefarious intentions.

The Pakistani army targeted the firing posts with small and large weapons, prompting the Afghan Taliban to flee after the Pakistani army retaliated.
