ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The retail Cement prices have increased in the country during the past week.
According to the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics, the average retail Cement prices per sack in the northern cities of the country were recorded at Rs 1,389 in the week ending December 11, which is 0.70 percent more than the previous week.
In the previous week, the average retail price of cement per sack in the northern cities of the country was recorded at Rs 1,379.
Similarly, in the week ending December 11, the average retail price of cement per sack in the southern cities of the country was recorded at Rs 1,445, which is 0.29 percent more than the previous week.
In the previous week, the average retail price of cement per sack in the southern cities of the country was recorded at Rs 1,441.
According to the statistics, in the week ending December 11, the average retail price of cement per sack was recorded in Islamabad at Rs 1367, Rawalpindi at Rs 1361, Gujranwala at Rs 1420, Sialkot at Rs 1400, Lahore at Rs 1488, Faisalabad at Rs 1380, Sargodha at Rs 1397, Multan at Rs 1397, Bahawalpur at Rs 1400, Peshawar at Rs 1370 and Bannu at Rs 1300.
Similarly, in the week ending December 11, the average retail price of cement per sack was recorded in Karachi at Rs 1378, Hyderabad at Rs 1428, Sukkur at Rs 1525, Larkana at Rs 1407, Quetta at Rs 1490, and Khuzdar at Rs 1443.
